About BorderQ

Beta Version

Smarter Border Crossings

BorderQ is built by independent developers in Seattle who cross the US-Canada border regularly.

Why We Built This

We got tired of navigating unfriendly official sites and hunting for camera snapshots across multiple sources.

So we combined everything into one place for easy access to live wait times, camera feeds, and historical patterns.

We're also tired of guessing wait times. That's why we built smarter predictions using similarity matching and historical data analysis.

Hybrid Intelligence

We don't rely on a single source. Official government sites often give you a delayed "snapshot" from just one perspective.

BorderQ fuses data from US CBP, Canada CBSA, and live camera feeds from DriveBC/WSDOT to create a single source of truth that is more accurate than any individual official site.

  • Cross-referenced sensor data
  • Live camera verification
  • Max-wait conservative estimates

Dynamics Vector Engine

Traffic isn't static—it's physics.

Our proprietary Dynamics Vector Engine measures momentum and acceleration to predict short-term surges before they happen.

If cars are piling up faster than they are being processed, we flag a ⚡ Surge Ahead alert, giving you immediate "Go/Hold" advice that official sites miss.

We're Still Learning

BorderQ is in active development. The more data we collect, the smarter our predictions become.
